Day 5: Your Dreams
There are somethings in my life that always stay constant, my dreams. I dream of growing up and being true to myself, never selling out. I want to be successful, and I want to be well off, but my real dream is just to be happy. I want to live my life and be reminded everyday as to why I’m here. This year, I was not happy, I gave up on myself and I’ve learned to never put myself in that position any longer. I deserve to be happy and that’s what I’m going to strive for.
I’m done settling for being content, I don’t want to be content, I want to be happy. I want to be surrounded by people who sincerely care, who support, who strive with me! I need to have happy friends, a happy family, a happy dog, and maybe if the future years allow it, a happy boyfriend.
Career-wise, yes, I want to pursue my arts because they make me happy. They allow me to be me, and no one else. That’s all I will pray for, and that’s all I’ll ever work for. Happiness.
